A little about me…..

Amy Illardo is a contemporary abstract artist, living and working on Long Island, NY. From a young age, Amy developed an interest in visual arts as a form of expression and self-reflection.
She began her art education at Parsons School of Design, first attending the pre-college program in France and then completing her foundation studies at Parsons School of Design in NYC. There she was first introduced to color theory and The Interaction of Color by Josef Albers. After completing her foundation year she attended Syracuse University, where she explored the mediums of photography, painting and film production. Missing the energy of NYC, she completed her BFA at the School of Visual Arts.

A little about the my process…

I paint daily, working quickly and spontaneously as I chose patterns and colors. Painting for me is very therapeutic and I find the act of painting relaxing, almost meditative. SHIPPING ARTWORK

I offer free shipping in the USA. All paintings come framed in pine lattice and include a wire back, ready to hang. All works on paper are framed and ready to hang. Your artwork will arrive in a cardboard shipping box. However, for large paintings (36x48) please email me. If you are a local Long Islander, I may be able to drop it off on your doorstep.

Returns are accepted within 10 days of delivery. Buyer is responsible for return shipping fees and artwork must arrive undamaged and in its original packaging.

PAYMENTS

Payments can be made through PAYPAL. Please be advised that PAYPAL will charge a fee for this service. If you would like to pay using an alternative method, please contact me at aillardo@aol.com.
